CKSF offers scholarships based on what you know!
The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (www.cksf.org) offers scholarship competitions to high school, college, and graduate students as well as parents. Participants compete by taking a series of online quizzes with the winner(s) being determined by a combination of time and accuracy while completing the quizzes. Contest rankings are continuously updated on the CKSF website allowing each participant to see where they placed.

How to Participate
Register with CKSF one time and you will automatically have access to all the scholarships for which you qualify. CKSF administrators choose a topic and write a series of multiple choice questions on that topic. A scholarship start date is announced on that topic and students have a set time or window in which to take the quiz or quizzes. The person or team (see team scholarships) with the most points at the end of the contest is the scholarship winner. To participate, visit www.cksf.org, click the Rules/Register link and complete the registration form. For those already registered with CKSF, simply log in to your CKSF account.
Scoring
For all CKSF Scholarship programs 500 points are awarded for each correct answer and one (1) point is deducted for each second taken to complete each question. Results are available immediately to each participant and the overall ranking is available within three (3) hours under the “Current Scholarship Ranking” at www.cksf.org.
Claiming and Awarding Scholarships
Verified winners are notified by U.S. mail and must return a validation form before being declared a CKSF scholarship winner. Upon receiving the signed validation form, an electronic claim form will become available in the student’s CKSF account. This form must be completed in its entirety to claim an award. Scholarship checks are distributed quarterly to students who have completed claim forms. Checks are written payable to the winner’s post secondary school of choice and deposited directly into the student’s Financial Aid account.
