Where are the websites that would help us with this challenge?! You said they would be posted shortly for a while.

  2. Joanne says:

The websites will be posted on or before January 15th.

  3. Dan says:

its past the 15th and there aren’t any links

  4. Ryan Hayes says:

Is there any way that a home school student can participate in this ? Do you group homeschool students in the county or state together to be “a team” ? What would I need to do ?

  5. Brian says:

I have a question about participation. I am home-schooled, so I was wondering how I would participate in a team scholarship. Would I need a partner or public school cooperation of some sort?

  6. shruti says:

    nevermind ignore the above post
Can we still move on to the next round if we dont have 20 people from our school?

  7. Joanne says:

For homeschooled students to participate, they can either participate with the school they would attend if they were in public or private school or if they belong to a home school group in a particular county, they can contact us at http://www.cksf.org, and we can add that group to our school database.

  8. Joanne says:

The top scoring school team from each county moves to the State Championship. We base the school score on the cumulative total of the top 20 student scorers. You could techinically advance with less than 20 students as long as your school score is the highest in your county.

  9. shruti says:

approximately how many people apply for each scholarship?

yay im so excited, I cant wait for tommorow :)
my first scholarship sign up ever!

  10. DTodd says:

What are we supposed to do about “teams?” Is it just a group of people from a specific school with all of our scores grouped together? And if so what is the target score?

  11. Joanne says:

Every student at your school is a part of your school’s team. A school’s score is the cumulative total of the top twenty highest scorers at the school. To win this scholarship, make sure you have at least 20 people from your school participating. However, the more students you have participating, the better because there is a better chance that your top 20 scores will be higher.

  12. Julie says:

Is there a website to study for the state championship quiz??
