The Summertime $50 Common Knowledge Challenge is a fun competition that tests your general knowledge and rewards the highest scorer with a $50 prize. This practice quiz competition will help prepare participants for upcoming scholarships on the CKSF website, www.cksf.org.

Quiz Details
Participants register with the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation at www.cksf.org and compete for a $50 gift card by taking online multiple-choice quizzes at the CKSF web site. At the end of the contest, the student with the highest score wins. The quizzes each consist of 12 general knowledge questions.

To take the Summertime $50 Common Knowledge Challenge, go to http://www.cksf.org, click “I am a: High School” or “College Student” and then register by clicking the “Rules/Register” link at the top of the page. The Summertime $50 Common Knowledge Challenge will appear in your account, click “Take Quiz.”
What if I’m already registered? How can I access this quiz?
If you are already registered with CKSF, log in to your account at http://www.cksf.org and the quiz will appear on your “My Scholarships” page.
What if I am a high school student, registered, and it still doesn’t show up on the “My Scholarships” page?
In your account under “My Scholarships” it appears at the bottom as “Joanne’s Open Challenge.” The Summertime $50 Common Knowledge Challenge is just one of the contests we might run under Joanne’s Open Challenge. I hope this helps! You can log in at http://www.cksf.org
I am already registered, but it didn’t show up in my scholarships. How do I access it?
How likely is it for someone to win one of these? Has anyone participated before? Thanks.
I’m also already registered and logged in, but I can’t find the scholarship under any of the tabs. It simply isn’t showing up in “My Scholarships” or “Available Scholarships”.
Can anyone help me figure this out?

When you log into your CKSF account you will see the contest listed as “Joanne’s Open Challenge.” This is the category name and the “Summertime $50 Common Knowledge Challenge” is one of the contests in this category. A little confusing but it looks like you were able to figure it out prior to this reply. Good Luck!

Someone wins every one of these Common Knowledge Scholarships – so your answer is it is 100% likely. Go to http://www.cksf.org. On the bottom of the page is the “Current Scholarship Ranking” where you will find the names of all the currently running contests. Click on any name and you will see the ranking. The person at the top of the list (no. 1) at the end of the contest is the winner. Daryl
