FBI Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Francesco Ferro the 2009 National FBI Scholarship winner. Francesco was awarded at his school, College Academy at Broward College, by Jeff Green, Community Outreach Coordinator from the Miami FBI office.  Francesco won the scholarship by reviewing the FBI.gov website and then taking a series of online quizzes about the FBI offered by the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation.

The scholarship was available to any high school student that lives in a county in which the FBI-SOS (Safe Online Surfing) program was implemented in at least one middle school.  The FBI-SOS program is a free program developed at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University and is available to any elementary or middle school in the United States.  For more on this program visit www.fbi-sos.org.
